Also, it's about 5x faster. My brother's pentium 2 could barely run Lemmings 1, now it can run L2 full speed w/o frameskip! |

Jazzem | 31 Mar 2006 22:12:57 Re: DOSBoxYep, Lemedit runs perfect with no frame skips. You can make movies too! |
ccexplore | 31 Mar 2006 22:18:44 Re: DOSBoxYou can make movies too! If you have tried that out, can you check roughly how much space do they take up per second of movie? |
Mindless | 31 Mar 2006 22:27:17 Re: DOSBoxSomething interesting from the readme: Q: Can I set the cycles higher than my PC can handle during recording? |
Jazzem | 31 Mar 2006 22:30:26 Re: DOSBoxA 52 second movie takes 5.07 MB, so pretty hefty... |
Mr. Ksoft / Timmy the Geek | 02 Apr 2006 12:54:49 Re: DOSBoxBUT, you can always recompress it in DivX or something. At least what DOSbox makes isn't full uncompressed video-- a 2 minute movie of a Gameboy Advance game, uncompressed, was 700 MB. :o |

Mr. Ksoft | 15 Apr 2006 16:44:23 Re: DOSBoxNah, you can just run it and go. Just like it does on a real computer. |

Hmm, did you have to do anything special (to the config file, etc.) to get sound to run? Download it from my site, run INSTALL.EXE, choose your soundcard options, and L3.BATshould run fine. |
Shvegait | 15 Apr 2006 22:36:19 Re: DOSBoxOh wow. Sorry, I was being retarded. I thought you said Lemmings 3D. Oh well :P I've never played Lemmings 2 or 3, maybe I should try them... |
Mr. Ksoft | 15 Apr 2006 23:38:11 Re: DOSBoxActually, Lemmings 3D has worked in DosBox for a while, I think. I remember trying to play it on an older version, though it was VERY slow. It didn't require tweaking though. |
