DragonsLover | 15 May 2005 08:12:08 The good version of Lemmings under DosI know two versions of Lemmings under Dos: There's one: - Where the music of the first level reappears if you miss to any other level - Where the code BILLANDTED works and the code VERSIONNUM doesn't - Where the bar of skills is shown in black under windowed Dos mode There's the other one: - Where the music of each level is playing individually even if you miss - Where the code BILLANDTED doesn't work and the code VERSIONNUM works - Where the bar of skills is shown normally under windowed Dos mode So, is there's a Lemmings version: - Where the music works like the second version above - Where both codes are working correctly and - Where the bar of skills is shown? (But for this one, it's less important because you can see it under Dosbox) |

Mindless | 16 May 2005 01:16:10 Re: The good version of Lemmings under DosI've got one in which neither code works. :P Edit: Also I think the code "versionnum" only works in the hacked (by VTM?) version of Lemmings. In any case "versionnum" works in Customized Lemmings. |
Andi | 16 May 2005 10:01:05 Re: The good version of Lemmings under Dosversionnum also works in the x-mas games. Am I right? VGALEMMI.EXE -> BILLANTED works, VERSIONNUM works not, music keeps LEMMINGS.EXE -> BILLANTED works not, VERSIONNUM works, music is switching |
DragonsLover | 16 May 2005 15:42:22 Re: The good version of Lemmings under DosOf course, this is the executable that changes all this. I don't know if there's a good executable file that allows the game to be perfect! Someone knows? |

Insane Steve | 17 May 2005 00:49:11 Re: The good version of Lemmings under DosBILLANDTED also works in the CD version with the too-large safe fall height (the version of Lemmings/ONML I have). |
