It has several movie clips in it though, that are all in constant motion. This eats all of the memory, so the game runs rediculously slow. There are no current solutions to this problem. Helpful hints? download the .fla file http://www.webcatgraphics.com/jmlproductions/towers |

G3K | 08 Nov 2004 16:37:20 Re: TowerHow about forcing the game to start in low quality, giving players the option to switch to a higher quality if they think their computer can take it? |
Timballisto | 11 Nov 2004 22:09:39 Re: TowerUh, it's slow even in low quality, and I'm not quite sure if it's just the computer that is having trouble, or if it's the Flash player itself. |
Timballisto | 02 Dec 2004 11:47:56 Re: TowerUPDATE: I found a solution. All I did was reduce the number of soldiers allowed per player to 15. Also, each soldier is not always operating. The soldier movie is created only when it's supposed to come into the playing field. These things seemed to help a lot. When I get done with this game, I'll tell you I still need to- -do AI (owch) -finish spells (extreme owch) -finish battle system -do catapult -fix a couple minor bugs. |
