G3K | 11 Jul 2004 15:36:27 Other GamesThought I may as well bring this one back. Anyway, my games just now are... Ikaruga [DC] - Extremely kickass top-down space shooter. Graphics are some of the best I've ever seen. Sonic Advance 3 [GBA] - Team-based Sonic game; similar to Knuckles Chaotix for the 32x, except a lot better. Phantasy Star 4 : End Of The Millenium [Megadrive] - Sega's premier RPG series. Black and White [PC] - Pick a creature. Wreak havoc on villagers. Repeat. Mega Man X [SNES] - Generic platform goodness from Capcom, nice soundtrack. Bomberman [SNES, Megadrive, PC-Engine] - The premise is the same for all platforms; blow stuff up and feel good about it. Gradius [PC-Engine] - Old but nifty top-down space shooter. Sonic Adventure 2 [NGC] - "SONIC! STOP FALLING OFF THE DAMN GRIND RAILS! *#&#!" 3D action-adventure game with Sonic characters, crap physics engine. Otherwise enjoyable. Zelda : The Wind Waker [NGC] - Needs no introduction. I think my copy has a bug, though >=/ |

Andi | 11 Jul 2004 16:56:28 Re: Other GamesI'm currently playing Black and White, too. |
Lemka | 11 Jul 2004 17:17:29 Re: Other GamesRight now I'm playing - Icewind Dale (I, this time); Baldur's Gate I; Baldur's Gate II; Unreal Tournament 2004; Syberia; and all the usual stuff (Magic Online, Commander Keen (all), Duke Nukem (I & II), Hocus Pocus, Mystic Towers, Zork Zero: The Revenge of Megabozz, other Zork games, of course Lemmings, Lemmings 3d, The Adventures of Lomax, Lemmings 2: The Tribes, Oh no! More Lemmings!, and... Populous: The Beginning.) It's all good :P |
Andi | 11 Jul 2004 18:29:33 Re: Other GamesI'm wondering if someone else have UT2004 (full)... |
G3K | 11 Jul 2004 19:10:28 Re: Other GamesI've been considering buying UT2K4; I'm completely skint at the moment, though, so that'll have to wait, along with this Dreamcast I've been promising myself lately. Whilst they're okay, emulators don't cut it =P |
Andi | 11 Jul 2004 19:14:31 Re: Other GamesAll you need is "the ultimate gamepad" (which i don't have)! So I have the same problem. |
DragonsLover | 11 Jul 2004 21:20:10 Re: Other GamesHey! I have Black & White too! :D I have on my computer:
Of course, it doesn't mean that I play them all everyday. I didn't play some of them for a long time ago! |
G3K | 11 Jul 2004 21:34:22 Re: Other GamesUhh... what the hell? "Kickbum" doesn't have quite the same ring to it XD |
Streetlight Administrator 370 | 11 Jul 2004 23:47:23 Re: Other GamesCouldn't even begin to say. But I'll list some of my favourites: Final Fantasy X [PS2] - Frucking awesome game. Sphere Grid rules. The only thing more fun than using the Sphere Grid to power up your characters(as far as I've found), is playing the game without touching the Sphere Grid! (it's possible - my next target is Seymour Flux) Final Fantasy Legend [GB] - Again, I'm going for a challenge. A much more restrictive challenge. No increasing stats - this means you can't use stat potions, eat monster meat, or pretty much use mutants AT ALL - the exception, you can increase stats by equipping armour. Also, you can't use "Saw" or "Hyper". Grand Theft Auto: Vice City [PS2] - Nope, I'm not trying any specific challenge on this one. Just playing it. Lemmings [PC] - Obviously. Nothing needs to be said about this frucking awesome game. |
tumble_weed | 12 Jul 2004 00:15:50 Re: Other GamesXD well...haven't had all that much time to actually play games but: Lemedit...ugh i mean Custlem Some demo of Mat Hoffman...i got in a cereal box Spider Solitaire RMXP demo Lemmings Paintball ugh that's about it XD! |
Mr. Ksoft | 12 Jul 2004 11:20:06 Re: Other GamesI play much... Sonic Heroes (GCN) RollerCoaster Tycoon 2 (PC) Lemmings (PC, Mac, GBC) SimCity 4 (PC) Mario Kart 64 (N64) Mario Kart Double Dash (GCN) Soinc Battle (GBA) The Hobbit (PC) Megaman 64 (N64) I could write down LOTS more... |
Lemka | 12 Jul 2004 15:42:30 Re: Other GamesI'm wondering if someone else have UT2004 (full)... I do! I'm kinda stuck on the Skaarj mothership in single-player. It's the last one on the ladder for me. Those kinds of levels are not my strong point, I'm afraid. Or did you mean other than me? :P |
Andi | 12 Jul 2004 16:40:03 Re: Other GamesHm. I knew you have it, but didn't thought of that when I posted. What about a 1-on-1? :D |
dumb_lem | 13 Jul 2004 02:54:27 Re: Other Gamesgo mario kart! :D :Di've got rollercoaster tycoon 2 too. do you have sim city classic? I don't know what i've got on my computer... my brother (Timballisto) put's stuff on there because it doesn't work on his. i've crammed so much stuff on my computer i'm surprised it hasn't crashed...again... X_X |
Lemka | 13 Jul 2004 14:37:28 Re: Other GamesSounds like a good idea. I could probably manage to rope Lemeri into it, too, if you wanted. Maybe tomorrow? I don't have that much time today. |
Andi | 13 Jul 2004 15:10:46 Re: Other GamesI don't care. I have summer holidays. I added you to my Yahoo-Messenger, but you are never online. |
Lemka | 14 Jul 2004 18:06:52 Re: Other GamesYeah, I know... it's that whole firewall/no firewall profile deal. I usually use the one that goes through the firewall, so I can't use YIM, I can't play games online, etcetera... So I just have to try to remember to use the other profile sometime. |
Andi | 14 Jul 2004 19:58:01 Re: Other GamesSomewhere in the settings you can make settings for a firewall. Tried that? |
Lemka | 15 Jul 2004 18:47:49 Re: Other GamesUmm... no. Actually I can't. See, basically, my mom makes us go through a firewall - which is a whole different computer - normally. It's a fairly tight firewall, too. So I have to have a seperate profile for online games and such (YIM and things like that, too) where I have a whole nother network card and it connects directly to the outside world. The was a fun game, by the way :P |
Andi | 15 Jul 2004 18:53:38 Re: Other Games |
Lemka | 15 Jul 2004 19:28:37 Re: Other GamesSure, that was a fun game :D You got all the names right, yeah. And as to my score... um... what can I say? I went bowling? O_O |
Lemeri | 17 Jul 2004 19:39:39 Re: Other GamesI player pretty much all the ones Lem'ka already said. I'm stuck on fighting that ******* Malcolm, on HyperBlast 2. EDIT: Oh and, my outside profile isn't working right now, so if you (Andi) are on when I get it working, I'll talk to you about another match then? EDIT 2: I beat Malcolm. |
Lemeri | 19 Jul 2004 15:45:34 Re: Other GamesYour friend is tough, Andi. |
Andi | 19 Jul 2004 19:06:27 Re: Other GamesOh, you mean El-_-Tono? When he started to play UT2004, he had won against a bunch of godlike bots in UT2003. He's simply a freak. :P |
Lemeri | 19 Jul 2004 19:38:38 Re: Other GamesI fought him again along with Lem'ka. They where on a team. The teams scores where: Them 40 (winners) Me: 3 (loser) |
Lemka | 19 Jul 2004 19:48:44 Re: Other GamesI did 19 of that and El-_-Tono did 21 of it. It was a fun game. I really should remember to come up in this profile more often :D |
Lemeri | 20 Jul 2004 17:15:53 Re: Other GamesI just fought Lem'ka: Lem'ka 10 (winner) Me 3 (loser) This was CTF InstaGib |
Timballisto | 21 Jul 2004 01:38:31 Re: Other GamesWho here has AOE? I'll gladly play them, well, if I could frikin figure out how the match-up service works. Maybe I could use IP address. |
Andi | 21 Jul 2004 06:42:43 Re: Other GamesI have it. But I didn't played it for a long time. |
Lemka | 21 Jul 2004 15:03:50 Re: Other GamesWhat's AOE? |
G3K | 21 Jul 2004 15:27:37 Re: Other GamesAge Of Empires, it's an RTS game I'm sure. Congrats on 200 posts. |
Lemeri | 21 Jul 2004 15:28:37 Re: Other GamesI like to play the demo of Rise of Nations: Thrones and Patriots. |
Lemka | 21 Jul 2004 15:29:21 Re: Other GamesAh. In that case, no :P |
dumb_lem | 22 Jul 2004 04:14:37 Re: Other Gamesi play age of empires sometimes.(alot) |

G3K | 23 Jul 2004 15:14:53 Re: Other Games |
DragonsLover | 23 Jul 2004 23:07:41 Re: Other GamesI'm playing the longest game of the world! Well, that's I guess! In the game Captive from Mindscape, someone said that there's about 65536 levels divided in missions, where 1 mission is 11 levels. If I can do 10 missions in one year, then I need more than 595 years to complete the game! O_O |
Louise | 23 Jul 2004 23:27:12 Re: Other GamesI have AOE, but haven't played it in a long time so am probably very rusty. I recently got Morrowind! Has anyone heard of it? It's not as good as the reviews make it out to be, IMO, but then I've been wanting to get it for ages so it's probably just anticlimax syndrome. It's still not a bad game. |
Lemeri | 24 Jul 2004 15:24:18 Re: Other GamesI sure haven't. |
Lemka | 24 Jul 2004 23:23:22 Re: Other GamesI've heard of it, but I've never felt the desire to play it. |
G3K | 24 Jul 2004 23:12:17 Re: Other GamesTwo new additions... Final Fantasy : Mystic Quest [SNES] - RPG, funnily enough. Tempest 2000 [Jaguar] - Classy Tempest game on the first 64-bit console. |
Timballisto | 25 Jul 2004 00:53:28 Re: Other GamesCan someone help me with finding out how the MAtch up AOE service works? I tried that stupid Zone thing, but it was a piece of worthless junk. Oh, also, I just got Donkey Kong Country for SNES (Yaaaeeeee!!!) and Starfox SNES, although I wish I had Starfox 64...........*sigh* :-( |
G3K | 25 Jul 2004 01:03:16 Re: Other GamesYou can download SF64 and an emulator from KaZaA and similar programs. |
Timballisto | 25 Jul 2004 01:04:08 Re: Other GamesSweet: only isn't Kazaa illegal? Besides, SF64 just simply wouldn't be the same on an emu. I remember actually playing it on 64, a long time ago. The joystick felt like it was part of your body with it's smooth up and down and sensitive flight path adjustments. The controller felt like it belonged in your hands. |
G3K | 25 Jul 2004 01:16:40 Re: Other GamesIt depends what you use it for... if you download things which you already legally own (say, for example, I downloaded a track from a CD which I'd previously bought) it's perfectly legal. However, if you're just downloading Starfox64, it should be okay regardless of whether you own the game or not, since Nintendo aren't actually making any money from that particular game anymore. |
Andi | 25 Jul 2004 09:54:47 Re: Other GamesI can remember reading on an emu-page, Nintendo made the owner close the site, because ofe the roms. |
dumb_lem | 26 Jul 2004 03:12:09 Re: Other Gamesthere's an old dos game called jetpack, it's awesome. |
G3K | 26 Jul 2004 18:57:01 Re: Other GamesJetpack? Yeah, I played that non-stop ages ago... and I NEVER got past level one :D Anyway, another game to add... Parodius [SNES] - Think Gradius, except with an enhanced "WTF" factor. |
Andi | 29 Jul 2004 17:53:19 Re: Other GamesAnother game with WTF-factor is "Postal 2". But you need REALLY BLACK HUMOR to play it. |
Lemka | 31 Jul 2004 23:25:55 Re: Other GamesSounds interesting. I actually haven't been playing very many games in the last few days. I've been too busy :-( But not anymore :D |
Louise | 01 Aug 2004 19:02:35 Re: Other Games |
G3K | 01 Aug 2004 19:47:10 Re: Other GamesI managed... but admittedly I used an FAQ X_X |
Lemeri | 06 Aug 2004 21:30:57 Re: Other GamesBy the way Andi (if you know the answer to this), how do you get to fight ClanLord? I've got Xan and Malcolm for avatars, but it never sends ClanLord after me, except after I beat the game. I used to think you just had to lose a lot, and it assigns ClanLord to you if you do badly, but that didn't work, so I've tried losing to Xan a lot, and so far that hasn't worked yet either. |
G3K | 07 Aug 2004 03:50:50 Re: Other GamesBumped over to a more appropriate forum. I'll sticky this one. |
DragonsLover | 07 Aug 2004 04:32:21 Re: Other GamesYeah JetPack. If I remember, it's a platform game where you have to build your ship by collecting the pieces and bring them on the launch site. Then, take 5 or 6 Fuel packs and bring them to your ship. It's this game you're talking about right? I played it on my old Atari ST. |
Andi | 07 Aug 2004 18:43:14 Re: Other GamesI have no clue how to fight against ClanLord. I never played the Sp-Mode through. Too boring. MP is much better. |
Ice_Eagle91 | 14 Aug 2004 01:50:18 Re: Other GamesThese games are what I play: - Sonic Heroes [PS2] - Sonic Advance 1-3 [GBA] - Eye Toy: Play [PS2] - Eye Toy: Groove [PS2] - Astro Boy: Omega Factor [GBA] - Hot Wheels Velocity X [PC] - Cheapo Copycat Lemmings [PC] - Crash Bandicoot: The Big Adventure [GBA] - Crash Purple: Ripto's Rampage [GBA] - Sonic Battle [GBA] - Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets [PS2] - Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban [GBA] This post will update when there are more games I play. |
G3K | 14 Aug 2004 02:01:41 Re: Other GamesWhat the hell, one more post won't hurt... Sparkster [Megadrive, SNES] Space Invaders [SNES] Ristar [Megadrive] F-Zero X [N64] MegaMan V [GB] |
DragonsLover | 15 Aug 2004 05:27:17 Re: Other GamesYYYYYYEEEEEESSSSSS!!!!!! I finally got a PlayStation 2 with a lot of stuff for 225$! B) Here are the games I got: Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4 Gran Turismo 3 Twisted Metal: Black SSX Tricky Tetris World And those I kept from my brother (his games he made at UbiSoft): Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Donald Duck: Going Quackers I'm so happy! :D |

Lemeri | 16 Aug 2004 14:43:30 Re: Other GamesDrop dead, Hobbes. Anyway, since some of you play UT2004 also, I was wondering if you know any good clans I could join. |
hydraboxdog | 21 Aug 2004 02:48:47 Re: Other GamesI have this awesome gamepad with a motion sensor. It works really well with racing games. Does anyone know about Tux Racer? I play the demo of it. It's cool. |
Andi | 21 Aug 2004 08:33:46 Re: Other GamesYeah. I used to play the opensource version very often. It doesn't have so many graphics, but it was easy to make your own levels. |
DragonsLover | 25 Aug 2004 01:49:30 Re: Other GamesI got these games from my friend: FFX and FFX-2 Harvest Moon: Save The Homeland Did some of you already played an Harvest Moon game? |
Andi | 25 Aug 2004 07:54:01 Re: Other GamesI played Harvest Moon 1 (SNES), Harvest Moon 2 (GBC) and Harvest Moon: A wondeful lofe (GC). But none of these games longer than a few days. It's getting boring very fast. Is "Save the Homeland" new? |
G3K | 25 Aug 2004 15:53:39 Re: Other GamesAccording to IGN, it was released for the PS2 around 2001. |
Anatol | 27 Aug 2004 23:40:41 Re: Other GamesHas anyone else ever played SimCity 2000? It's great fun, but there's a bug where sometimes the game jams, and the city you're working is corrupted!!! |
Andi | 28 Aug 2004 08:53:55 Re: Other GamesI played SimCity 2k very often. But I never had problems like this. |
Streetlight Admnistrator | 29 Aug 2004 11:33:38 Re: Other GamesYAY U GOT FFX! Once you beat it normally, try without the Sphere Grid. |
DragonsLover | 02 Sep 2004 02:11:13 Re: Other GamesMaybe... I will! Also, are some of you played the game where my brother worked on it: Prince of Persia: the Sands of Time? |
G3K | 05 Sep 2004 21:13:24 Re: Other GamesQuick question... did anyone here own a CDi? If so, did you play any of the Zelda games? Were they really ridiculously crap? |
DragonsLover | 07 Sep 2004 16:02:55 Re: Other GamesI bought Drakengard. For now, it's a game that I like to play. You know? You're on the back of a dragon and burn entire armies! You can also do battles in the sky! :D Well... it's not only a dragon game, you can also fight enemies on the ground with Caim, a human hero. The start of the story is like DragonHeart when they exchanged their hearts together. I enjoy! ;P |
Lemeri | 20 Sep 2004 21:38:27 Re: Other GamesI've been playing 'Knights of the Old Republic' a lot lately. |
Andi | 21 Sep 2004 05:19:39 Re: Other GamesI just started to play Priston Tales. Kinda nice, but Kinda boring. I'm not sure if I'll play this a very long time. |
G3K | 21 Sep 2004 07:06:22 Re: Other GamesMMORPGs... can't say I've played a lot, but they look pretty interesting anyway - if I were going to try one out, it'd be something like Phantasy Star Online for the GC. Anyway... What Videogame Character Are You? Myself... Hell yeah. And there's nothing wrong with Hawaiian shirts, for I have a badass gun. |
Andi | 21 Sep 2004 14:03:24 Re: Other GamesThere's somthing wrong with that. It said I'm Samus Aran... =8O //edit: At the second run it said I'm Tommy, too. So we gonna be rivals, G3K buddy. ;P |

Timballisto | 14 Dec 2004 11:14:36 Re: Other Gamesheh......... B)....Actually, that kind of does sound like me................ Only I'm missing the sword and shield part, and some heart containers, and a whole lot of running. I can't kill giant monsters. I can't ride a horse, nor can I make one come to me by playing a song on an occarina. I can't lift a giant sword two times my size (probably maybe not even with two hands). I can't use a boomerang that accurately....etc. EDIT: Wait a sec........that should say that I'm like Link, not Zelda. Look at the first sentence, and read it. It says I'm like zelda. A DEFINITE NO. |

DragonsLover | 10 Jan 2005 19:35:56 Re: Other GamesDrakengard? Yep, it's a good game! I also bought Drakan but I haven't played it yet. |
Timballisto | 24 Jan 2005 18:13:13 Re: Other GamesI beat Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King for Gamecube in one day. Great effects, but a lot less skill is required to beat the game compared to LOTR:TTT. I mean, you could almost just press "A" the whole game, and still win. It's really easy. The only exceptions are Minas Tirith walltop and the last level, maybe the second to last level. |
?QuErY? | 23 Apr 2005 15:05:33 Re: Other GamesVer, very long list. I have that many games, I'm not sure whether this list is anywhere near complete. If it is, at least to people carrying very large bags must have raided the drawers of the computer desk without me noticing last night. All for computer unless I say otherwise: Lemmings(of course) Lemmings Paintball Adventures of Lomax*demo* Black & White Petz: DogzII, Petz3, Petz4, Petz5 Simcity 2000 & 3000(UK edition) God knows how many downloaded demos ******. Can't remember any other computer ones right now. I also have a GBA sp with most of the Pokemon games. Nintendo should really make a Pokemon game for computer. And last, and definitely least played, my gamecube games: Super Mario Sunshine Pikmin2 |

Timballisto | 10 May 2005 00:55:55 Re: Other GamesI just recently played Stronghold 2, which I believe is made in the UK. Top class game, very well done I say. I like it a lot. The only bad part is when it gets laggy. If you have a good computer though, nothing should be wrong. Right now, I own the other two strongholds. Could anyone possibly tell me the best price you've seen for this game? Thanks. |
AstralLemming | 11 May 2005 16:30:36 Re: Other GamesThe difference is UK has some buildings from the UK as well as from a couple of other places, while the normal Simcity doesn't. |
Timballisto | 19 May 2005 21:38:22 Re: Other GamesI recently unearthed a large yet unfinished series of Jetpack levels. When I get done with the series, would anyone be interested in downloading it? Has anyone played Jetpack? |
Shvegait | 19 May 2005 23:58:41 Re: Other GamesCurrently playing Guild Wars. And just before I got it I had started another pack of levels :-( In case anyone else plays, my main char's name is Ymmij Of Jimmy. |
Timballisto | 29 May 2005 14:02:26 Re: Other GamesWhat do you do in Guild Wars? Also, why the heck would guilds go to war with each other? |
Shvegait | 29 May 2005 20:48:03 Re: Other GamesIt's an online action "RPG"-type game basically, similar in some ways to Diablo II, Dungeon Siege, and Phantasy Star Online. But it has a much higher emphasis on (and is much more balanced for) Player vs. Player events, such as arenas (4v4) and large tournaments (6 teams of 8 ). A lot of people draw comparisons to MMORPGs like World of Warcraft and Everquest, but this is not the type of game that it is. And they're not trade guilds, they're like... warring guilds :P |
Timballisto | 30 May 2005 00:28:29 Re: Other Gamesm...I see. Sounds fair interesting. |

Timballisto | 19 Jun 2005 20:32:15 Re: Other GamesI got all the levels off of that site. Hey, does your computer list your levels like this (in this kind of order)? 10 11 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 etc... Oh, and I'm not done with the pack of levels yet. If I can remember correctly, yours has a storyline right? |
Isu | 20 Jun 2005 18:43:02 Re: Other GamesActually, the 1 comes before the 10 and 11 for me. You've rekindled my flame for this game :D One last thing, I made one (1) level here. It's called Isu002 but it's my only level. (In fact, it's an update on Isu001, which isn't worth your time.) |
Timballisto | 21 Jun 2005 02:17:01 Re: Other GamesLol. I'll have to try it out sometime. Actually all of the numerical sorting devices on my computer seem fairly messed up. I think that a worm that I used to have on there at one time ate the file that allowed for correct numerical sorting. This is a pain, as I can't play my levels continuosly and normally in custom mode. Instead I have to load them all individually and play them. Oh well. They are fun anyhow. |
Andi | 21 Jun 2005 11:01:48 Re: Other GamesThe sorting is correct. Computers sort numbers like letters. Means: A AA AAB AZ Is the same as 1 11 112 19 I hope you understand what I mean. To correct this you'd have to use 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 ... |
Timballisto | 21 Jun 2005 14:32:44 Re: Other GamesI tried that-it still messes up. I can always try again though I guess. |
Isu | 22 Jun 2005 21:51:40 Re: Other Games:???:Maybe you haven't got your files sorted by name, maybe they're sorted by size or modified date. :???: I've also made a selection of DX-Ball levels, if anyone wants them... EDIT: Merged my two posts into one. |
DragonsLover | 27 Jun 2005 16:05:25 Re: Other GamesI've some levels of other games too, just email-me: - Supaplex - Dungeon Keeper Gold - Lode Runner : The Legend Returns - Elasto Mania - Rayman Designer - Warcraft II |
Isu | 02 Jul 2005 19:12:13 Re: Other GamesI got DROD from Caravelgames.com. It's a puzzler where you guide your character through 25 levels. If you like lemmings, then I recommend you try it. It also has a built-in level editor, which is nice. I think i'm doing quite a good job with it (making levels in the editor) When I finish I'll post it on my site. |
tumble_weed | 05 Jul 2005 10:36:05 Re: Other Gamesrecently I've been trying to play as many Adventure games as possible: Day of the Tentacle Flight of the Amazon Queen Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantas Beneath a Steel Sky Maniac Mansion and hopefully Sam and Max when I get it back from my friends...and I want to try and get some Monkey Island games, which I heard are good I've also been playing THPS3 and Worms |
Isu | 05 Jul 2005 17:07:12 Re: Other GamesI've got THPS4 and THUG2. Both are pretty good games, but I got to be in a certain mood to play them. I've got the demo of "Flight of the Amazon Queen". I'm afraid it's not my type of game. 8) |
tumble_weed | 06 Jul 2005 17:33:24 Re: Other Gamesyeah i had the demo about 5 years ago...im not sure where it went...the game is really good if you ignore the occasional bug and the occasional failed joke...the game is actually now available as freeware now. I only have THPS3, it was only about $7 |
Isu | 06 Jul 2005 18:15:06 Re: Other GamesI'd imagine that most of the old demos would be available as freeware. After all, they are old. |
Timballisto | 06 Jul 2005 20:15:27 Re: Other GamesI got Stronghold 2 for my birthday. I played it at a friend's house before so I know it's a good game. If you look on the flip open thingy on the box, you'll notice that red is going to ultimately lose the battle unless they are somehow hiding a huge number of troops! It's a pretty cool looking battle nontheless. This is another game I can't play at my mom's house as my mom won't let me use the computers with XP. Darn. Oh well. Can't wait to try it out (I'm at my mom's for awhile). |
JM | 16 Jul 2005 12:57:41 Re: Other GamesI pretty much like things like Commander Keen and Wolfenstein 3-D.I also like Jill of the Jungle and Star Wars Mysteries of the Sith. |

Timballisto | 12 Aug 2005 02:06:48 Re: Other GamesI just found something very weird in Ocarina of Time, and apparently no one else has found it before, atleast no one who puts things on the internet. As adult Link, go up to Zora's fountain, and then swim over to where the entrance to the fairy fountain is. There should be a gray rock. If you have the silver gauntlets or the golden gauntlets, you can lift it and throw it away. Underneath that is another rock that you can blow up and is embedded in the ground mostly. If you blow it up, it reveals a secret passage full of invisible (can be seen with lense of truth) skulltulas. After the skulltulas is a ladder, and that, leads to a place way up on the mountain. Can anybody tell me why this is here??? |

Lemika | 08 Oct 2005 23:56:35 Re: Other GamesI've been playing Half-Life and Guild Wars a lot lately. This, by the way, explains why I've not been around much. |
Timballisto | 18 Oct 2005 23:20:12 Re: Other GamesI've been playing Wings 2: Aces High. Cool game!!! I'd recommend playing it. |
Jazzem | 26 Oct 2005 10:16:57 Re: Other GamesI've been enjoying the Donkey Kong Country games on the SNES recently. Not the most complex or original platformers, but very well designed and fun to play. I'm playing Advance Wars: Dual Strike on the DS too, but I'm hopelessly stuck on mission 12 :-( |
DragonsLover | 26 Oct 2005 14:01:54 Re: Other GamesI got "Neverwinter Nights Platinum" few days ago. I'm currently creating a module for the school! It will be an adventure about a sect with undead creatures and a Lost Boy. :D Also, here's a bad consent: I've never played "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Times" on Nintendo 64, it's a classical game you know! :-[ But, my brother passes me a Nintendo 64 and I'm playing the game these days. What an adventure! :) |
Isu | 26 Oct 2005 18:01:28 Re: Other GamesI brought Tekken 5 for my sisters birthday and now I think I'm playing it more than she is X_X. My sister (and I) have been following the series for a while and I have to say, Tekken 5 is easily the best in the series. I often play against her and I think I'm slacking. She is starting to get better than me :-( |
Mr. Ksoft | 03 Nov 2005 02:59:42 Re: Other GamesWow. I just realized how Star Wars Battlefront has pulled me away from Lemmings. I LOVE IT! I'm getting SWBF2 this month too! These games are MUST PLAYS! |
Timballisto | 17 Dec 2005 01:48:45 Re: Other GamesI just beat Burger Time Deluxe for gameboy (finally after about...um...12, 13 years?). Good game. There's a versus mode on there but I have no idea how it works. I wish I could play it against someone, but finding someone else with the game would probably be like finding someone else who plays Tzar: Burden of the Crown. On The OOT thing, no, there is no gold skulltula in there, and why in the world they would make something like that to house one little skulltula, I don't know. Something's there I'm not seeing, or it's something else they decided to stop working on midway or something. I wonder if that room's in the game cube version... |
DragonsLover | 29 Dec 2005 18:23:01 Re: Other GamesHah! I received for Christmas a joystick that contains 25 Intellivision games that just needs to plug into the TV to play! Is someone here knows that old console Intellivision? |
Jazzem | 30 Dec 2005 14:23:21 Re: Other GamesAnyone else got Mario Kart DS? I got it for Christmas, and it's undeniably fantastic, especially online! |
Andi | 30 Dec 2005 22:05:59 Re: Other GamesI bought Mario Kart DS when it came out and after playing it I regreted it. I dislike it. Too many weird sounds for my oppinion and the rainbow road dissappointed me. -_- I awaited more. In the N64 version you needed 10 minutes for it. THAT was good. But the one in DS just sucks. |
Timballisto | 31 Dec 2005 04:53:21 Re: Other GamesReally? You think so? Personally I liked the one in the DS version better than the one in N64. Maybe it's just that I don't like really long courses...unless you do one right maybe. The N64 one is waayyyyyyyyyyyyy too long for me. It takes forever. Not only that, but the whole thing is walled off. The DS one I think is better, but my favorite one would have to be the GC version of RR. My favorite RR music is the SNES one. The DS Mario Kart as a whole is good, but maybe a bit too easy. Still exciting to play though. You forget it's too easy while you race sometimes. If only there was a way to make the game increasingly harder as you became better... Can anyone say manual handicaps? Oh yeah. If you get bored with the game then try making your own Grand Prixs with the versus option and select course turned on. It's fun. I hope the game provided something you liked. |
Jazzem | 31 Dec 2005 11:32:42 Re: Other GamesMy personal favourite is the SNES version (Although after hours of Mario Kart DS I was hopeless at it-They're very un-alike!!), the handling isexcellent, and a true example of "Easy to use, difficult to master". I've enjoyed every version really (Although I can't help but wish the N64 Karter was more speedy), even Double Dash, I'm a Mario Kart boff :P Sorry you didn't like it though Andi, I actually like the DS Rainbow Road, arnd while the N64 one has a great charm about it, it's fairly tedious. Only the chain chomps provide any sort of challenge. What on Eath do you mean by weird sounds though!? Either of you online with it? I know you disliked it Andi, but we can't go wrong with a race, eh? |
Andi | 31 Dec 2005 14:52:48 Re: Other GamesWeird sounds? I mean the stupid sounds when the characters overtake you. I like the older versions MUCH better when they just did a short sound without speaking something. But the voice output is just horrible. "Baby Mario!" WTF? O_o It's just like if they are Pokemon, only able to speak their own name. Ok it had some things I like. The "2 player in one kart" idea is neat and true 3d drivers are also something good. But the houses in mushroom city are just a great failure. And sorry, we can go wrong with a race. I have no modem. :/ |
Jazzem | 31 Dec 2005 15:08:11 Re: Other GamesWeird sounds? I mean the stupid sounds when the characters overtake you. But the houses in mushroom city are just a great failure. And sorry, we can go wrong with a race. I have no modem. :/ Eh? That's "Mario Kart: Double Dash!!"you're talking about! Although the DS version has the voices (Which are fairly amusing if you ask me =P), it doesn't have Baby Mario, and it certainly doesn't have 2 players in one kart! Sorry about the no-modem thing, there's always the wi-fi USB adapter if you're interested. |
Timballisto | 01 Jan 2006 06:57:14 Re: Other GamesSooooo how does that Wi-Fi thing work anyhow? If I could use it then I would. My friend let me borrow his copy of MK DS so I can play if I figure out how to do this. |
Andi | 01 Jan 2006 15:49:23 Re: Other GamesARGH! I totally failed! :-[ I'm very sorry. For some reason I was thinking all the time about Double Dash. In fact I never played the DS version. ... Ah, that hurts. How did I came up with double dash? Double daSh? -_- |
Jazzem | 01 Jan 2006 18:02:06 Re: Other GamesSooooo how does that Wi-Fi thing work anyhow? If I could use it then I would. My friend let me borrow his copy of MK DS so I can play if I figure out how to do this. Basically, you'll need to get a wireless signal going to your DS. You can do this in several ways... 1)Have a wireless router (You may have to update the firmware if it's slightly out of date) 2)Buy the offical wifi USB adapter that Nintendo are selling (Windows XP only, now 2000/98 or Mac). 3)Go to a local BT Openzone hotspot. I've got a wireless router (Linksys HG200 v2), and it works perfectly. Not all routers will work though, so have £30 prepared just in case for the wifi adapter. How did I came up with double dash? Double daSh? -_- It happens :P It amazes me how much criticism 'DD!!' gets, it's one of my favourites in the series, and I always come back to it. |
Timballisto | 03 Jan 2006 23:34:53 Re: Other GamesWhere was DD criticized??? That's a great game! How could you complain about it? The only thing I don't like is it gets too easy after awhile, but that's fine. It gets hard again after you leave it for awhile, and if not it's still fun to play. |
Jazzem | 04 Jan 2006 17:33:39 Re: Other GamesWell by Andi for one :P It just got plenty of criticism from many gamers who bought the thing, a shame really, I enjoy it. Still, it's fun to be different! So has my wifi help...helped? |
Timballisto | 04 Jan 2006 21:59:17 Re: Other GamesWell...tell me more about the wireless router. We have one, but it doesn't have whatever the DS needs apparently (when I found the option for wi-fi in MK DS I looked for connections just for fun. I turned up three networks in my neighborhood including my own O_o. I tried ours but it said some weird thing and wouldn't work.). |
Jazzem | 05 Jan 2006 19:19:45 Re: Other GamesI'm afraid you'll need to tell me more about the wireless router :P. What make/model is it? And what's your ISP? This may help... http://www.nintendowifi.com/customersupport/supportedRouters.do Also, what was this error that came up? A number? Or something regarding a WEP key? |
Timballisto | 07 Jan 2006 00:08:01 Re: Other GamesIt gave me an error code and a phone number to call after the connection test failed. The error code was 51300. What that means I have no idea. The site will probably help. They've got a lot on there. EDIT: Got it! Give me a time/day and I'll see if I can race. |
Timballisto | 07 Jan 2006 02:25:33 Re: Other GamesWow. Okay. That is one of the cheapest things I've ever seen. There were some people in dry bombers using dry bones, and they could go ridiculously fast, go over dirt without slowing down, and basically be at any position they wanted to be on the road (like they would twitch right and left all over the place, only they would jump around - you wouldn't see them actually move over). It sucks. I'm never playing anyone who uses that. Is that something your not supposed to be able to do or what? EDIT: Well, I've found out that this trick is apparently something called snaking, and it's "legal". If I could use this technique, I don't think I would. It takes all the fun out of the game. Really. I prefer a race where you drift where you can, but not every second. That's just no fun because all the emphasis is on drifting over and over. |
Jazzem | 08 Jan 2006 00:17:34 Re: Other GamesYou're finally online? Awesome! We'll race sometime today then :) Regarding the snaking, I think it's okay in small doses if you're losing. I do kind of feel guilty though, I once did it on the last straight on Figure 8 and overtook the person in front! But yeah, when you're going maniacal with it it just saps the fun out. EDIT: Ah yes, my friend code... 111730 951899 |
JM | 08 Jan 2006 19:05:28 Re: Other GamesThere's Wolfenstein 3-D which is awesome and with the source code you can implement new features into the game which are listed below Chaingun jamming at random times Level title at loading screen Boss drops a key when killed Exploding barrels Rocket launcher God mode Teleporters Motorbikes Seamless level flow And more... |
Timballisto | 09 Jan 2006 00:43:12 Re: Other GamesErm sorry about that. Actually I can probably play Monday. Another thing is I think I'll need your name to play you. Not sure on that, but WFC seems to turn up people randomly unless you do friends mode. |
Jazzem | 11 Jan 2006 22:33:32 Re: Other GamesBlimey, never got around to this did we? It's not necessary that it's correct when you tempoarily type it in, but I'm just Jazzem as usual. Friend code please. |
Timballisto | 12 Jan 2006 22:06:01 Re: Other GamesWell right now it's ^ Aœ Fighter. When I get my own copy, I'll be The Spear. |
Jazzem | 12 Jan 2006 22:29:08 Re: Other GamesI'm afraid that's not what I meant. The friend code is a ten digit number that is unique to each DS. Kind of like a phone number really, to access your own one go to the second option on the MKDS wifi mode and then go to "Confirm friend code". |
Timballisto | 13 Jan 2006 00:03:17 Re: Other GamesOh. Well, I'll do that just as soon as my brother gets the DS back to me. He's using it right now. |
Jazzem | 14 Jan 2006 10:57:24 Re: Other GamesOkay, you've been added. Now when shall we race? |
Timballisto | 14 Jan 2006 20:57:14 Re: Other GamesSunday at 1:00 PM? Not sure what time that is where you're at. I'm talking about 1:00 PM Standard time...I think. |
Jazzem | 14 Jan 2006 21:30:03 Re: Other GamesWell according to my time, you posted that at 8:57pm. Does that help at all? It's also 9:30pm at the time of typing. |
Timballisto | 15 Jan 2006 17:55:19 Re: Other GamesYes. That means you should get on at 7:00 PM - or in otherwords right now. EDIT: Say, I wouldn't have to have your code too would I? |
Jazzem | 15 Jan 2006 19:05:54 Re: Other GamesI'm sorry about the delay, are you ready to search? I'll search as soon as you reply. EDIT: Yeah, you'll need to add mine... 111730 951899 |
Timballisto | 15 Jan 2006 23:41:44 Re: Other GamesSorry. Internet died. Well, I'll be on, but apparently it's 12:00 AM where you're at, so I'll try again at 12:00 PM (6 PM for you). |
Jazzem | 16 Jan 2006 16:01:56 Re: Other GamesI'll be there! |
Jazzem | 16 Jan 2006 18:16:31 Re: Other GamesI was there :-?. I've been searching for a while... |
Timballisto | 16 Jan 2006 18:32:02 Re: Other GamesOkay try now. Let me get this straight though. Just go to the friends option under search, right? |
Jazzem | 16 Jan 2006 19:36:36 Re: Other GamesWow, great races! Certainly very close (The Wario Stadium finish springs to mind!), I guess the tie was inevitable. Same time tommorow? EDIT: Ah yes, friend searches are restricted to people on your friend list. |
Timballisto | 16 Jan 2006 19:48:49 Re: Other GamesYeah! Those were great! That last race was really wierd though. I think there was some lag somehow, because you were jumping all over the track. Your symbol is awesome XD . Well, I can't do the same time tomorrow because I'll be in school then. I also might not be in a place where I can get onto WFC when I go home that day (parents are divorced with joint custody, and one has a wireless router, the other doesn't). I'll check. As for another time, I'll probably be able to get on at about 3:30 PM (my time) when I have access to WFC. Oh yes. And then there are semester exams to study for *shiver at the fact that I haven't started studying yet and the exams are only two days away*. I'll see when I can get on next. Andi you wouldn't want to play sometime would you? Oh. Just found out tomorrow I'm at the same house. I'll be on at 4:00 (here). If I'm not there assume I'm studying, and if I am there I'll only do one set of races because I'm going to have to start studying soon. Thanks. |

Jazzem | 16 Jan 2006 21:38:40 Re: Other GamesMy jumping about was due to a busy internet connection on either of our ends, probably mine since there was two PC's running aswell, and it's only 512kb. Thanks for the avatar compliments :) Would 4:00 be about 24 hours or so from now? |
Timballisto | 16 Jan 2006 22:13:55 Re: Other GamesAbout. It would be at 10 PM where you're at. Whatever time I give you just take it and add six hours. |

MC Marshy | 22 Feb 2006 13:05:13 Re: Other GamesIf you have played Counterstrike then go on http://www.stickpage.com and play x227. It's good. Only two levels in the game is the problem. I prefer games with something like 10-15 levels or so. Short games are what I get sick of :P |
Lemeri | 22 Feb 2006 17:38:48 Re: Other GamesI've mostly been spending my time playing Guild Wars these days, as the avatar suggests. I've also been playing Counterstike: Source some. |
MC Marshy | 28 Feb 2006 20:48:06 Re: Other GamesCounterstrike is brilliant. Multi-player games rock! If you play Quake then play multi-player :) |
Jazzem | 14 Mar 2006 21:27:16 Re: Other GamesAnyone heard of Thunderforce? It's a pretty obscure SHMUP series that is mostly on the mega drive, but I own/love the 4th one. I picked it up in a second hand shop and really enjoy it. Some old school (If ridiculously hard!) fun :) |
Timballisto | 22 Mar 2006 16:48:59 Re: Other GamesWell Jazzem, I've finally gotten my own copy of Mario Kart DS, so I can play you again sometime. Give me a time, and I'll see if it works for me. |
Jazzem | 22 Mar 2006 19:07:02 Re: Other GamesGreat! :) How about 4:00 for you tommorow, but 10:00 for me? |

Jazzem | 23 Mar 2006 20:10:44 Re: Other GamesIt's 8:10 here, I presume it's roughly 2:10 down on your shores? Just to be sure :) |

Jazzem | 23 Mar 2006 21:50:27 Re: Other GamesYep, I've picked you up :) I'm afraid I'll only do one game for tonight (Gotta get up early for tommorow!) EDIT: Huh!? Well that was irritating... A busy internet connection for me or you by the looks of it... I'll disconnect my PC from the internet. |
Timballisto | 23 Mar 2006 22:18:18 Re: Other GamesIt was probably on my end. I think my mom is trying to do some work on the internet. Still though, I can't believe we tied...again...XD. Man that's funny. |
Jazzem | 23 Mar 2006 22:20:19 Re: Other GamesYeah, those races were very, very close! I refuse to believe that Choco Mountain ending actually happened! :o I should be able to do some matches tommorow at the same time (Or even earlier, but only by an hour or so). Shall we settle the score then? ;) |
Timballisto | 24 Mar 2006 18:15:51 Re: Other Games3:30 to 4 is fine (9:30 to 10:00 for you I think). Is it alright if my brother plays too? The choco mountain finish? I can't remember what happened there exactly, but if I had to guess I'd say I bounced off of the tops of the last three hills and flew over you. I like bouncing on those hills. It's fun. I'm not sure if that's what I did or not though. |
Jazzem | 24 Mar 2006 20:03:57 Re: Other GamesIf I remember correctly, I hit you with a green shell, but you overtook at the last minute with a mushroom! |
